Consumer goods firm Titan Company is set to declare its third-quarter earnings on Tuesday. Here are the things to keep in mind ahead of the results:
The company, in its updates, said that jewellery business revenue grew around 11 percent. It had guided for about 11-13 percent growth.
There was inelastic demand for wedding jewellery that aided sales this time.
Watches growth was absolutely flat.
For eyewear, the growth came in at 2 percent and this is where the weakness in consumer sentiment was reflected.
Protests in the northeast, as well as other parts, impacted sales in December.
Revenue growth overall is expected at 11 percent at Rs 6,300 crore.
EBITDA is likely to grow at 23 percent at Rs 720 crore. Margins could improve by about 110 bps odd.
Net profit is likely to grow by about 20 percent.
