PNB Housing Finance on Wednesday reported a 26% jump in net profit at ₹338 crore for the third quarter ended December 2023. The non-banking finance company, promoted by Punjab National Bank, had earned ₹269 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Total revenue during the third quarter of the current fiscal fell to ₹1,755 crore from ₹1,797 crore in the year-ago period, according to a regulatory filing. Total income also moderated to ₹1,756 crore in the quarter from ₹1,797 crore in the year-ago period, PNB Housing Finance said.
Gross Non-Performing Assets (NPA) declined to 1.73% as of December 31, 2023, compared to 4.87% at the end of the third quarter of the previous fiscal. The capital adequacy ratio stood at 29.53% at the end of December 2023.
