Larsen & Toubro (L&T), the engineering and construction major, on Tuesday reported a 21 percent year-on-year(YOY) jump in net profit at Rs 1,360.5 crore.
The company said it recorded consolidated gross revenue of Rs 29,636 crore from continuing operations for the quarter ended June 30, 2019, achieving
YOY growth of 10 percent.
The company won new orders worth Rs 38,700 crore at the group level during the quarter ended June 30, registering a growth of 11 per cent, according to the filing.
The group's consolidated order book stood at Rs. 2,94,014 crore as of June 30, 2019, with the international order book constituting 23 percent to the total order book, the company said.
