Vibha Padalkar, MD & CEO of HDFC Life, on Monday said the insurer had a fairly satisfying third quarter, and its market share went up by 200 bps.

HDFC Life posted an in-line value of new business performance but a better than expected value of new business margin and healthy embedded value growth sequentially.
Speaking in an interview to CNBC-TV18, Padalkar said, “We are reasonably satisfied that we have been able to expand over 200 bps on the topline as well as on the bottomline delivering at 27 percent growth in NBC.”
"We hope to end credit life segment on a positive note by Q4 end," she said.
“We have been winning new bancassurance partnership whether it’s Yes Bank, SBICAP. We are ramping up with Bandhan,” said Padalkar.
