Expect fertiliser subsidy receivables to be zero by March-end, says GSFC

Gujarat State Fertilisers and Chemicals’ (GSFC) growth was led by both industrial and fertilizer segments this quarter. VD Nanavaty, Executive Director and CFO, GSFC discussed the numbers.

“By March-end, we hope that we will have zero outstanding for the subsidy,” he said in an interview with CNBC-TV18.
“For fertiliser segment, the sustainable margin is 5 percent,” he mentioned.
Good rainfall and good government schemes for the farmers led to growth in the fertiliser segment, he said.
“We see this growth to continue going forward,” he said.
