The business is back to normal on strong content and viewership, said Rohit Gupta, chief financial officer (CFO) of Zee Entertainment Enterprises, on Friday. Zee, on Thursday, reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 398.01 crore for the Q3 ended December 2020.
“Our business has now fully returned to normalcy on the back of strong content and viewership of our television network. Our viewership is now 18.2 percent. We have seen an augmentation on user base and this is on the back of strong business content and also surging digital consumption,” he said while speaking to CNBC-TV18.
On the margin front, Gupta said, “We have been investing in content which helped us grow and therefore, we will provide a gradual outlook by the end of Q4.”
