Bharat Forge Q3 Earnings: Here are the key expectations

Pune-based Bharat Forge, a multinational company involved in automotives, power, oil & gas and much more, is set to declare its third-quarter results today. The weak performance is likely to continue this quarter.

Here are the key expectations:
  • Analysts are expecting the revenues to fall 26 percent.
  • Profits are likely to fall by 45 percent.
  • Margins may decline to 24.6 percent versus 31 percent.
  • A lot of segments are undergoing pain especially the commercial vehicle (CV) segment, the Class 8 truck segment as well as the shale oil segment.
  • The tonnage has fallen for four consecutive quarters for Bharat Forge and is expected to fall further this time, by about 21 percent.
