D-Mart retail chain owner Avenue Supermarts will announce its third-quarter results on Saturday, January 13. The company is expected to report its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation at ₹1,107 crore, up 14% year-on-year, according to a CNBC-TV18 poll estimate.
The margins are expected to slide to 8.4% against 8.6%.
The company reported its third-quarter update on January 2. The standalone revenue came at ₹1,3247.3 crore, up 17.2% from the year-ago period, the company said in a filing. Revenue growth for the quarter was below the four-year CAGR at 21.2%.
For the quarter ending on September 30, 2023, Avenue Supermarts reported standalone revenue from operations totalling Rs 12,307.72 crore compared to Rs 10,384.66 crore on a year-on-year basis.
The shares of the company ended half a percent higher on Friday. Avenue Supermarts share price has fallen 6.5% since the third quarter business updates were announced.
