Persistent Systems emerged as one of India's fastest growing IT companies, clocking 35.4% growth in financial year 2023 and 35.2% in financial year 2022.
Pune-based Persistent Systems Ltd. bagged the 'Most Promising Company of the Year' award at the 19th edition of CNBC-TV18’s India Business Leader Awards (IBLA) held in Mumbai on December 2.
With its impactful projects, ranging from groundbreaking IoT solutions to cutting-edge advancements in Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence, Persistant Systems has been at the forefront of the technological wave that's shaping the digital landscape.
The company emerged as one of India's fastest growing IT companies, clocking 35.4% growth in financial year 2023 and 35.2% in financial year 2022. It crossed $1 billion in revenue last year and is now working towards crossing the $2 billion milestone within the next four years.
Persistent Systems is being steered by a dynamic group of professionals led by Founder, Chairman & MD Anand Deshpande, and CEO and Executive Director Sandeep Kalra.
It has an employee strength of 22,750 spread across 21 countries. Its client list consists of numerous industry leaders —14 of the 30 most innovative companies as identified by BCG, and 8 of the 10 largest banks in USA and India — besides numerous other innovators across the healthcare and software ecosystem.
Shares of Persistent Systems are also the best performers among its larger IT sector peers in 2023, gaining 60% so far this year.
