Sonata Software on Thursday, October 19, informed the stock exchanges that the company has partnered with Global Cloud Xchange (GCX) for business transformation.
"Sonata's investments in cloud, data and generative AI technologies made Sonata the partner of choice for GCX as they start a multi-year business transformation of GCX's enterprise operations, systems and business intelligence systems," the company said.
GCX provides high-bandwidth connectivity as well as global managed network services such as cybersecurity, managed ICT, and UCaaS solutions to various blue-chip customers including hyperscalers, new media providers, and telecommunications operations.
The stock exchange filing said GCX has 66,000 km of cables, which span 46 countries.
"Our capabilities and investments in cloud, data and AI will be at the core to deliver the next leg of transformation for GCX," said Sonata Software's MD and CEO Samir Dhir.
Meanwhile, GCX CEO Carl Grivner said Sonata has been a 'strategic' partner, while its CFO Brice Evin said the partnership with Sonata continues to be a significant part of the company's future roadmap.
"Sonata continues to be an important partner in making GCX future-ready by providing strategic business and technology transformations," Evin said.
Sonata Software's shares were trading near 0.5% up around noon at ₹1,102.65 apiece.
