State-owned Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) on Friday, March 15, said the company has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) for a project worth ₹339.2 crore from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.
The contract entails the "design and construction of elevated viaduct" spanning a length of 4.519 km of the Pune Metro Rail network, according to a stock exchange filing.
The execution timeline of this project is of 130 weeks, RVNL added.
The railway PSU’s consolidated net profit dropped 6.24% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis to ₹358.57 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2023, compared to ₹382.42 crore in the same period last year, while net sales dipped 6.4% to ₹4,689.3 crore in third quarter of FY24 versus ₹5,012.1 crore in the year-ago period.
Shares of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd ended at ₹245.80, up by ₹2.40, or 0.99%, on the BSE.
