PNGRB: Companies can decide open access based on cost tariff method

Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has released draft regulations to determine tariffs for third parties. City Gas Distribution companies can decide open access by themselves based on the cost tariff method.

The regulations are largely in line with some positives for Indraprastha Gas (IGL), Mahanagar Gas (MGL) and Gujarat Gas. DK Sarraf, chairperson at Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board and AK Jana, MD at IGL are in conversation with CNBC-TV18.
