A pharmaceutical company in Panchkula, Haryana, has caught the attention of all for surprising 12 employees with cars ahead of Diwali. The pharma company, Mits Healthcare, presented Tata Punch cars to its star performers, which are being seen as Diwali gifts.
In a heart-warming video that went viral on social media, the company’s owner MK Bhatia was seen personally handing over brand-new Tata Punch cars to 12 employees, including an office helper.
Speaking to ANI, Bhatia expressed his deep admiration for the dedication and hard work exhibited by his staff. He fondly referred to them as ‘celebrities’, acknowledging their significant contributions to the company’s growth. This Diwali, he decided to translate his appreciation into action, surprising them with these brand-new cars.

The heartening video on Bhatia’s LinkedIn page showcased the sheer joy of one of the employees, standing beside the new car at a showroom. Overwhelmed with emotion, the employee emphasised the loyalty and dedication of his colleagues, which had earned them this extraordinary gift.
In a heartfelt message, Bhatia shared his perspective on how he has always treated his employees as celebrities and stars, considering them an integral part of the company’s success story.
“Because we’ve consistently made them feel like celebrities, the media has now recognized and validated what we’ve believed for a long time,” Bhatia was quoted as saying by News18.
He also commended their steadfastness and unwavering support during the company’s journey through ups and downs.
Although the generous gift was given a month ago, it gained widespread attention this month, coinciding with the festive spirit of Diwali. Bhatia clarified that the timing was purely coincidental and not planned to coincide with the festival.
The employees expressed their overwhelming happiness and gratitude for this unexpected gesture. Shilpa, a senior employee at Mits Healthcare, shared her joy while speaking to ANI.
“Eight years ago, when I joined, Sir had shared his dream of giving all his employees a car. Today, he’s turned that dream into reality, and our happiness knows no bounds,” she said.
This gesture of appreciation is not a one-time affair. Mits Healthcare plans to extend this generosity further by presenting cars to 38 more employees in the near future, reported India Today.
The Tata Punch, an entry-level micro SUV launched in 2021, comes with a starting price of ₹6 lakh and is equipped with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated, 3-cylinder petrol engine generating 86 bhp and 115 Nm of peak torque. The car is considered one of the safest vehicles in its segment as it has a 5-star G-NCAP rating.
