G R Infraprojects Ltd on Monday (January 1) said it won a project in Madhya Pradesh with annual transmission charges of ₹41.9 crore.
The infrastructure company said it received a Letter of Intent on December 31 from REC Power Development and Consultancy Ltd for the "Transmission system for Evacuation of Power from RE Projects in Rajgarh (1000 MW) SEZ in Madhya Pradesh‐Phase II" project, which is a part of Inter‐State Transmission System Network, through a Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding Process (TBCB).
The Central Transmission Utility serves as the client for this endeavour, G R Infraprojects said in a regulatory filing
G R Infraprojects is tasked with establishing the transmission system for power evacuation, supporting the ambitious renewable energy projects in Rajgarh SEZ.
The anticipated completion period for the project is set at 24 months. Moreover, G R Infraprojects is slated to operate and maintain the transmission system for 35 years.
Shares of G R Infraprojects Ltd ended at ₹1,131.95, down by ₹12.35, or 1.08%, on the BSE.
