AGS Transact Technologies’ digital payments brand Ongo is likely to partner with Patanjali Ayurved to launch open-loop co-branded prepaid cards, as per sources. These prepaid cards can be accepted on any device on the Rupay network across India.

Patanjali-Ongo co-branded cards will give Patanjali Ayurveda customers access to exclusive benefits spanning a diverse range of Patanjali's products and services across all Patanjali stores. Additionally, customers of the co-branded cards can experience unparalleled convenience at all RuPay acceptance points across the country.
How will Patanjali-Ongo co-branded cards help customers?
Patanajali-Ongo co-branded card users can earn rewards for purchasing Patanjali products through these cards. Additionally, they can use these cards for various other payments, including shopping, dining, fuelling and other e-commerce purchases. 
Further, the cards will come with the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) feature, which will allow customers to use transit services such as the NCMC-enabled metro, buses, tolls, and parking across the country. Enrollment for this card can be done by customers through registration on the Ongo app available on the Play Store and App Store or by visiting the nearest Patanjali stores.

AGS Transact Technologies’ digital brand Ongo has been managing closed-loop loyalty programs for leading brands, including Patanjali Ayurved. This will be their first open-loop, co-branded prepaid RuPay cards enabled with NCMC for Patanjali customers. Additionally, AGS Transact Technologies, in partnership with the RBL Bank, is issuing NCMC, an open-loop prepaid RuPay card for Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited, and aims to issue 25 lakh NCMCs over two years.
