Future Trend Capital and an entity of US firm Delaware are backing former Jet Airways chairman Naresh Goyal's Jetair's bid to invest in the cash strapped airline, reported The Economic Times quoting sources.
Adi Partners, a London-based firm, is also associated with the consortium of Jetair and Future Trend, the daily said, adding that Jetair is the general sales agency (GSA) that got the airline into the aviation market.
The report said that the bid from the Future Trend-Jetair consortium came in around 6:08 PM, eight minutes after the deadline for submitting expressions of interest (EoIs).
Jetair has pockets deep enough to propose an interest in bidding for Jet Airways, the daily said.
