The civil aviation ministry has unveiled 'Drone regulations 1.0.'
5 categories of drones will be permissible...
Nano: up to 250 grams
Micro: 250 grams to 2 kg
Small: 2-25 kg
Medium: 25-150 kg
Large: more than 150 kgYou need to be 18 years of age and 10th class pass to operate drones and you can only fly a drone during daylight and within visual line of sight. The regulations and permissions for drones will be given via 'Digital Sky' platform.
Under the National Drone Policy, all drones above the micro category (above 2 kg) must have a unique id and the government is currently working on drone policy 2.0.
Drone policy 2.0 will regulate the delivery of goods through drones.
