Air India wlecomes second Airbus A350 aircraft

The aircraft took from Toulouse, France and  landed at the Delhi airport on Saturday, February 3. The airline has also taken the delivery of the A320 NEO aircraft.

Air India wlecomes second Airbus A350 aircraft
Tata Group-owned airline Air India welcomed its second Airbus A350 aircraft on Saturday, February 3.

The aircraft took from Toulouse, France and  landed at the Delhi airport on Saturday. The airline has also taken the delivery of the A320 NEO aircraft.
On December 23, the airline marked a significant milestone in its ongoing transformation story, as it welcomed the initial delivery of one of the 30 Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
The A350-900 aircraft from Air India comprises a three-class cabin arrangement, with a total of 316 seats designed by Collins Aerospace.
It also features 28 business class suites equipped with full-flat beds, 24 premium economy seats featuring additional legroom and various distinctive features, along with 264 roomy economy class seats.
All seats on the aircraft feature the latest Panasonic eX3 in-flight entertainment system with HD screens.
In February last year, the airline had placed a record order for 470 aircraft from Airbus and Boeing, its largest single purchase order in history.
On another note, Air India's ongoing Namaste World Sale, valid till February 5, 2024, is offering airfares starting at Rs 1,799 (one-way for domestic) and Rs 3,899 (one-way for international). The airline said the convenience fee has been waived off on the offer for bookings made via Air India's website and/or mobile app.
