Overdrive: Audi focuses on IC engine portfolio with new Q5; Citroen C5 Aircross versus Jeep Compass
Audi has given its popular SUV, the Q5 a midlife makeover. The design is in line with other SUVs from Audi stable.
Of late, Audi has launched a slew of electric vehicles but is now gearing up to update the entire IC engine portfolio and that starts off with the new Q5. Visually, the new Q5 is quite a striking-looking SUV and cosmetic changes in the new grill, which is completely different from the previous generation Q5.
Meanwhile, the Jeep Compass and the Citroen C5 Aircross are essentially the same product targeting a similar profile of customers in the Indian market. Interestingly, they fall under the same big brand. However, Citroen is absolutely new to the Indian market whereas the Jeep brand has established itself over a couple of years.
