Owing to the slowdown in the automobile industry, German premium carmaker Mercedes-Benz India on Tuesday said the company is going ahead with investment plans in the country.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18's Areeb Sherwani, Martin Schwenk, managing director and chief executive officer, "We have delayed or deferred some of our products launches by a couple of months in order to manage our inventories properly. However, the company has not changed any single decision in terms of products, production and dealer network."
He further said, "In our wholesale portfolio in Pune, we have no car left with BS-IV engine. In the network, there are still cars with BS-IV engine but that will follow a normal sales pace. I think it will only take a few weeks for the BS-IV models to sell-out."
