Indian auto industry needs regulations on a par with rest of the world: Vikram Kirloskar

The auto industry has reiterated that India should cut taxes on the sector to align with global tax structures. Industry sources say the government can meet revenue targets through higher sales volumes driven by lower taxes. Earlier, Toyota India reportedly said that the tax environment sends a message that India does not want foreign auto companies.
