Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), on Thursday, announced an 11-month associate sponsorship with Mohun Bagan Super Giant (MBSG) for the Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-24. As part of this collaboration, HMSI will promote its brand ‘Dio’ as India’s first moto-scooter during the ISL 2023-24 season.
The Honda-Mohun Bagan partnership aims to provide a thrilling experience to football fans across India with Dio branding prominently featured on the player’s jerseys.
Expressing his excitement about the partnership, Yogesh Mathur, Director of Sales and Marketing at HMSI stated, “The association between HMSI and Mohun Bagan Super Giant is a testament to our mutual commitment to providing thrilling experiences to football fans and enthusiasts alike.” Honda Dio’s ‘Fun’ philosophy aligns perfectly with the fun and fervour that football brings with it, Mathur added.
Colonel Vinod Bisht, CEO of RPSG Sports Pvt Ltd, also shared his enthusiasm about the partnership. He said, “We are honored to forge this partnership with Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India. As a club with a strong legacy, we share the same vision of inspiring young minds through the thrilling world of football.”
Mohun Bagan Super Giant (MBSG), established on August 15, 1889, is based in Kolkata, West Bengal. It is one of the oldest clubs in India and the world. MBSG is also the current defending champion of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23.
