Homegrown autotech major CARS24 is actively seeking talented engineers, developers, and technology experts to fill its ranks. The hiring spree comes as the company inaugurates its second Research and Development Centre (R&D) in Bengaluru, Karnataka, just six months after the launch of the first one.

CARS24 has also announced the addition of Shobhit Shrivastava as the Senior Director of Engineering. Shobhit, who has nearly two decades of experience, will lead the engineering team. His responsibilities extend to overseeing the AU tech initiative and fostering seamless collaboration with business, growth, and product teams.
Marut Singh, Chief Technology Officer at CARS24, in a company statement, expressed his enthusiasm about the addition of Shobhit to the team and said, “We are thrilled to welcome Shobhit Shrivastava on board. His diverse background and expertise align seamlessly with our mission to drive innovation and enhance the user experience.”
Shobhit’s appointment underscores CARS24’s commitment to attracting top talent and delivering an even more exceptional customer experience in the world of used cars. Upon joining CARS24, Shobhit stated, “Joining this dynamic team feels like embarking on an exciting journey, and I’m eager to contribute to reshaping tech-driven solutions for buying, selling, and financing cars.”

The establishment of these additional R&D centres marks a significant milestone in CARS24’s growth strategy. These centres will play a pivotal role in analysing data related to pre-owned vehicle sales and market trends. Leveraging statistical models and machine learning, they will forecast future demand, identify growth opportunities, and optimise pricing strategies, said the company statement added.
