Car segment demand remains resilient: FADA

Auto stocks remain in the limelight as auto companies reported a mixed set of sales numbers for the month of November. Jitendra Adhia, President-Finance of Atul Auto and Vinkesh Gulati, President, Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations of India (FADA) discussed the outlook for sales and the sector at large.

Auto stocks remain in the limelight as auto companies reported a mixed set of sales numbers for the month of November. Jitendra Adhia, President-Finance of Atul Auto and Vinkesh Gulati, President, Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations of India (FADA) discussed the outlook for sales and the sector at large.

Rajkot-based Atul Auto delivered tepid sales in November and saw a 16 percent decline in total sales year-on-year (YoY).
In the car segment, there is no issue on the demand side because the waiting period is huge and it is increasing, said Gulati.
