Bharat Mobility Global Expo to host over 800 exhibitors, PM Modi to speak

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo is set to take place from February 1 to 3, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Amardeep Bhatia, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, told CNBC-TV18 that the expo could see a large number of participants, including more than 50 exhibitors from abroad out of over 800 exhibitors in total.

Bhatia also revealed that the event is expected to draw significant attention, with a special address by Prime Minister Modi scheduled for the second day.


The expo will showcase a range of innovative technologies and future vehicles, including automotive components, electric vehicle battery and charging technologies, alternate powertrains, and disruptive technologies like urban mobility solutions and autonomous vehicles.

The event will see participation from the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and the Energy Storage Association in India (IESA).

The expo is managed by 11 leading industry associations and supported by nine ministries under the guidance of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

As per the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), 28 leading vehicle Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) will be present at the event. These include Ashok Leyland, Ather Energy, Bajaj Auto, BMW India, EKA Mobility, Godawari Electric Motors, Force Motors, Hero MotoCorp, Honda Cars, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, Hyundai Motor India, India Yamaha, Isuzu, JBM, Kia India, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki India, Mercedes Benz India, MG Motor, Royal Enfield, Skoda Volkswagen India, Suzuki Motorcycle, Tata Motors, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Tork Motors, TVS Motor Company, and Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles.

The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) has confirmed the presence of over 600 component manufacturers at the event. These include Accurate DGC Industries Pvt. Ltd., Acme Udyog, Brakes India Pvt. Ltd., Four Star Industries, Garware Hi-Tech Films Ltd., Gee EMM Global Exim, J. K. Fenner (India) Ltd., KK Lights, Liqui Moly, MAHLE ANAND Filter Systems, Minda Corporation Ltd., Neolite ZKW Lightings Pvt. Ltd., NRB Bearings Ltd., RMP Bearings Ltd., Schaeffler India Ltd., Silver Muller Rubber Ltd., Subros Ltd., Talbros Indiparts Pvt. Ltd., Teknorot, ZF India Pvt. Ltd., and many more.

The Energy Storage Association in India (IESA) has also indicated that over 50 battery and storage companies will be participating in the expo. These include Amara Raja, Anupam Rasayan India Ltd., Altero, Bounce Infinity, Epsilon, Exigo Recycling, Fortum India Pvt. Ltd., Future Hi-Tech Batteries Ltd., HEG, Himadri Specialty Chemical, GFL, Godi India Pvt. Ltd., Livguard Energy Technologies, LNJ Bhilwara Group - Replus, Maestrotech Systems Firetech Equipment & Systems Pvt. Ltd., Midtronics - Apple Energy Pvt.
