As November kicks off, auto makers across the country including Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, MG Motor, Hero MotoCorp and more, begin reporting their sales numbers this week for the month of October.

Here are the latest updates on auto sales for October 2023:
Bajaj Auto
Bajaj Auto has reported October total sales at lakh units 4.71 lakh units vs Nomura estimate of 4.17 lakh units. Total sales are up 19% Y-o-Y while exports are down 7%

Mahindra and Mahindra 
Mahindra Auto has recorded its highest-ever SUV sales for October 2023, reaching 43,708 vehicles, a  36% growth. Additionally, the company achieved its highest-ever total volumes for the month, selling a record-breaking 80,679 vehicles.

Escorts Kubota 
Escorts Kubota total sales for the month of October came at 13,205 units as compared to 14,492 units (YoY), down 8.9%.
Hyundai 
Hyundai India registered total sales of 68728 units in October 2023. Total sales for the month of October 2023 include domestic sales of 55 128 units and export of 13 600 units.
Tata Motors
Tata Motors reported total sales at 82,954 units as compared to Nomura estimate of 82,000 units. The total sales are up 5.9% at 82,954 units vs 78,335 units (YoY)

Maruti Suzuki 
Maruti Suzuki reported October total sales at 1.99 lakh units vs Nomura estimate of 1.93 lakh units and domestic sales at 1.77 lakh units vs 1.47 lakh units (YoY), up 21%.

Eicher Motor
Eicher Motor (Motorcycles) reported an annual increase of 3% in their total sales in October. The company sold 84,435 units this year as compared to last year's 82,235 units during the month.
