The electric vehicle (EV) movement is rapidly gaining traction, with numerous companies innovating sustainable transportation solutions. Acer, the renowned Taiwanese technology giant recognised for its PCs and accessories, has recently embraced this shift by introducing an innovative electric bike named MUVI 125 4G at the ongoing e-mobility expo in Greater Noida.
This venture marks Acer's inaugural entry into the EV sector. Designed to meet the needs of the average Indian commuter, the MUVI 125 4G is the outcome of a collaboration between Acer and the Indian electric mobility company eBikeGo.
"The introduction of products such as the Acer-branded MUVI-125-4G indicates a promising step towards sustainable transportation solutions. Our nation’s mission to achieve cleaner transportation benefits from the innovation and commitment displayed by companies like eBikeGo," said Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari.
The bike's design has been provided by eBikeGo, combining cutting-edge European technology with Indian manufacturing expertise. The Muvi 125 4G boasts standout features, including swappable batteries, a lightweight yet robust chassis for effortless maneuverability, and 16-inch wheels for enhanced stability and safety.
With a top speed of up to 75 kmph and a range of 80 km, it aligns with the evolving needs of urban mobility.
While Acer has not yet disclosed the pricing and availability details for its electric bike, the MUVI 125 4G sets a promising precedent for the brand's foray into sustainable transportation solutions.
