Hyundai launches Creta 2024 facelift in India, prices start at ₹11 lakh
Hyundai Motor India, on Tuesday, launched its much anticipated 2024 facelift of Creta SUV. The refreshed Creta has 19 variants, including five engine and gearbox options.

Prices start at 11 lakh for the entry-level E petrol-manual variant and go up to 20 lakh for the top-spec SX(O) diesel-automatic trim. These prices are introductory and are likely to change in the future.
Hyundai began accepting bookings for the Creta facelift earlier this year. Customers could reserve their vehicle for a token amount of 25,000.
The new Creta features a robust design with connected LED daytime running lights and a more prominent square grille. The headlights are now more square-shaped, and the bumper sports substantial cladding and a chunky skid plate, giving the vehicle a rugged look. The silhouette remains largely unchanged, save for new alloy wheels. At the rear, the SUV features new connected LED tail lamps and a chunky bumper.
The interior of the Creta has been heavily overhauled, featuring a dual-tone theme with light colours and piano black elements. The dashboard has been completely redesigned to accommodate dual 10.25-inch screens, giving the cabin an upmarket look. Ambient lighting adds a touch of flair throughout the cabin, and the air conditioning controls now include physical knobs and buttons for enhanced functionality.

Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
The 2024 Creta continues to offer its existing 1.5-litre NA petrol and diesel engines. However, a new addition is the introduction of the Verna-sourced 160 PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. This engine option is exclusively available with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and is limited to the top-tier SX (O) variant.
The launch of the Creta facelift renews its rivalry with several other SUVs, including the Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and MG Astor. The Tata Curvv is also expected to join this competitive segment soon.
