Pm Kisan Samman Nidhi Programme may be possible after the Lok Sabha polls, said sources familiar with the matter.
This, according to the sources, is due to the model code of conduct imposed by election commission last week for the general elections.
Among other things, the model code of conduct bars the government from announcing any policy move that may impact voters' decision.
Last week, EC has announced the seven-phase schedule for 2019 Lok Sabha polls beginning April 11.
