At the start of the lockdown in March, India saw very few brands advertising. However, as it progressed from one lockdown to the next, and staying at home became the new normal, it slowly saw advertisers crawling back and engaging with the consumers with their advertising campaigns.
Many agencies were actively working remotely to make this happen for brands. One such agency was Ogilvy India. There was some good work created for a range of clients by Ogilvy. From Mask Force for the government to Wildcraft, from Asian Paints to Mondelez, to name a few.
To discuss how the agency made it happen and how they are preparing for a comeback in this unlock period, Shibani Gharat spoke to Ogilvy India's chief creative officer Sukesh Nayak.
