Hindalco is a short sell, said Sukhani. “Metals have been underperforming and Hindalco had a big down day and that momentum on the downside continues,” he said.
“I have two buying opportunities. ICICI Bank is doing well. It is showing some signs of strength and it is also holding its head above water even as the Bank Nifty underperformed. That is a buying opportunity. If nothing else works, Indraprastha Gas (IGL) will go up still and that is exactly what happens. So, IGL is a buy,” Sukhani added.
“Ceat is a sell with a stop of Rs 910 and target of Rs 875. Bata is a sell with a stop of Rs 1,390 and target of Rs 1,365. LIC Housing is a buy with a stop of Rs 533 and target of Rs 560,” Gujral recommended.
Stock specific, Bissa said, “I have a buy on BPCL and one can keep a stop loss of Rs 375 on the upside, Rs 395-400 is what I would be expecting. Sell Cadila Healthcare and one can keep a stop loss of Rs 243.”
