Basant Maheshwari of Basant Maheshwari Wealth Advisers on Monday said he said expects leading nonbanking financial companies (NBFC) will gain market share post liquidity crisis.
The top players are able to raise money, they are able to lend money, they are able to scale up their work, whereas the bottom players are finding it tough to raise cash, they will have a problem getting the ball rolling, Maheshwari said.
What would happen over the next 3-5 quarters is that the business will shift again to the top guys and, of course, we hold them. I think stocks that were down 40 percent from the top, are down only 15 percent now. So, I think there is no problem there but the sector will see a churn," he said.
On HUL Maheshwari said the real benefit of this deal would flow over the next 1-3 years but the markets will start discounting, so nobody could write a buy thesis on HUL.
