The government aims to build 40 kilometers of roads per day by end of March 2019, according to road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari.

The government aims to build 40 kilometers of roads per day by end of March 2019, according to road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari.
Speaking from the sidelines of JP Morgan India Investor Summit, Gadkari said in the last four years, government has constructed 28,531 km and awarded 51,073 kilometers.
For the Sagarmal project, government will start awarding projects by end of this year, Gadkari said.
