Emami, whose stock has seen a 35 percent upmove this year and a 220 percent rally from March lows, has said that the COVID worries are over for the company.
Mohan Goenka, Director of Emami, said that the company expects a double-digit revenue growth due to winter products for Q3 as well. The company saw double-digit growth in the last quarter.
In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Goenka said, “Winter is a key season for Emami and it has set in pretty well in most parts of India. So that’s helping this growth and also some of the healthcare products which were doing well because of COVID; they are still firing.”
“We have 12-13 percent of revenues coming from healthcare products. Last quarter we had a growth of about 40 percent in the healthcare range and in this quarter also, we are expecting it to be on similar lines,” he said.
