Jawa Motorcycles on Friday said it will start delivering Perak Bobber in India from April 2 after the company completed one year in the country.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18's Areeb Sherwani, Anup Thareja, co-founder, said, "Bobber has a separate line so it will not affect the delivery of either the Jawa 42 or the Jawas which have now ramped up. Costs stabilised a few months back. We are going to open up the bookings on January 1."
The Bobber is a unique single-seat motorcycle that now gets a bigger 334cc liquid-cooled engine. Jawa has priced the motorcycle at Rs 1.94 lakh ex-showroom.
