State-owned fertiliser firm, National Fertilizers Ltd (NFL), on Monday said the natural gas prices have impacted company's finance cost, after posting a strong set of Q1 earnings.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Manoj Mishra, chief managing director, said National Fertilizers hope to continue the performance as far as urea production is concerned.
On an annual number, National Fertilizers had crossed Rs 9,000 crore and this year, the company will be crossing Rs 10,000 crore for the first time, Mishra said.
According to Mishra, "Our reassess capacity is close to 32.5 lakh tonne, but we have been producing consistently for the last three years at 38 lakh tonne, which roughly translates into 117-118 percent on an annual basis."
