The world of technology saw some major launches from top brands such as Google and HP, with AI being the centre of attraction, this week. From a phone with an anti-drop display to power-packed laptops, there were various launches that drew the attention of tech enthusiasts. Here's a look at major tech launches and news this week:
1. Gemini 1.5
Google on Thursday launched Gemini 1.5, an upgraded version of its suite of AI models announced a few months ago. The Alphabet-owned company claimed that users can ask Google’s AI to analyse vastly more content than before -- 30,000 lines of code, 11 hours of audio, a whole hour of video -- in a single prompt. The company said it will open its million-token AI to a limited number of business customers starting Thursday.
2. HP Envy Move
HP has introduced its Envy Move 23.8-inch all-in-one PC for ₹1,24,999 in the Indian market. The PC can be folded like a briefcase, which makes it ultra-portable and suited for hybrid work. Packed by up to 13th Gen Intel Core i5 processor and integrated Intel UHD graphics, the PC boasts an integrated handle, auto-deploying kickstand feet for stable placement, and a keyboard pocket at the back. It weighs around 4.1 kg and has a 23.8-inch IMAX-enhanced Quad HD touch display.
