To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Instagram is introducing a range of special hidden features that users can enjoy for the next two days starting February 14. The social media platform, in. a press release, said it is enhancing the V-Day spirit by adding unique elements to Stories and Notes.
Notes Get a 'Heart'felt Upgrade
Instagram users can now trigger an “exploding heart/emoji” animation in their Direct Message (DM) inbox by posting or tapping Notes with Valentine’s Day-related keywords or emojis. The list of triggering keywords includes popular phrases like "Happy Valentine’s Day," "Happy vday," "Vday," and a selection of heart emojis.

From Instagram with Love
Instagram said in the press release that it is is turning Stories into a canvas for love stories with its latest feature. When users post or tap an @mention in their Stories, they can watch as floating hearts fill their visual narrative. Additionally, the @mention sticker in the Stories sticker tray will also receive a "hearty" transformation, adding a romantic flair to the Instagram experience.
These special Valentine’s Day features are designed to provide users with creative ways to connect and express themselves this Valentine's Day season, Instagram said. Users can indulge in these hidden surprises until February 15.
