Xiaomi launched its marquee product, the 14 Ultra, in the Chinese market on Thursday. Ahead of the global launch at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona on Sunday, the Chinese tech giant has revealed the key features of their flagship smartphone.
Similar to Xiaomi 13 Ultra, its successor is also a camera-focused handset. It sports a large 1-inch sensor and three more cameras, all developed in collaboration with Leica. It boasts a 50MP Sony LYT900 primary camera along with two 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto zoom lenses and a 50MP ultra-wide shooter at the back. A 32MP front camera has been housed for selfies and video calls.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, pairing well with an Adreno 750 GPU for efficiency. It sports a sleek leather design at the back.
In China, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has been priced at 6,499 yuan (roughly ₹74,800) for the 12GB+256GB variant. On top of that, the 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB models are priced at 6,999 yuan (roughly ₹80,600) and 7,799 yuan (roughly ₹89,800), respectively.
According to a report on Mysmartprice, Xiaomi 14 Ultra was spotted in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, confirming its launch in India. However, the company has yet to announce the launch date. It's significant because Xiaomi did not launch Xiaomi 13 and 13 Ultra handsets in India, reported Mysmartprice.
Ahead of the grand release, Xiaomi India shared a promo visual on X, offering a glimpse of the upcoming device. “Embrace the play of light and shadow! Xiaomi14 with Leica lens technology, every moment becomes a masterpiece of contrast and depth. Launching on 7th March 2024!” it said
The upcoming Xiaomi 14 series will offer a 6.36-inch display while sporting a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Boosting a three-camera rear setup the Xiaomi 14 will pack a 4,610 mAh battery.
