Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan hit half centuries in 2nd T20I against Australia

India was off to a flier with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad adding 77 runs for the opening wicket in 5.5 overs. Jaiswal departed for a 25-ball 53, before Ishan Kishan's 52 off 32 balls joined Gaikwad's 58 off 43 balls in an 87-run alliance for the second wicket.

Rinku Singh made a breezy 31 not out from nine balls. India leads the series 2-0 after beating the visitors by 44 runs wickets in the second T20I. India posted a mammoth 235/4 after Australia invited them to bat first in the second T20 International of the five-match series.

India posted 235/4 in 20 overs and won by 44 runs. Australia captain Matthew Wade opted to bowl after winning the coin toss in the second T20. India won the first game in Visakhapatnam by two wickets to lead the five-match series 1-0.

Australia made two changes with World Cup winners Glenn Maxwell and Adam Zampa included after resting in the previous game, which was played just four days after Australia beat India in the Cricket World Cup final.

Pacer Jason Behrendorff and batting all-rounder Aaron Hardie have been left out. India has fielded an unchanged side from the previous game. The weather in Thiruvananthapuram threatened this second T20 but cleared up ahead of Sunday’s game.
