Brazilian football star Neymar’s girlfriend and social media influencer Bruna Biancardi’s house in Cotia, Sao Paulo, was reportedly invaded and robbed on Tuesday, reported R7 newspaper. As per reports, the criminals who barged into the house were said to be looking for Neymar’s girlfriend and their newborn daughter, Mavie. However, both of them were not present at home when the armed men entered the house.
There were three attackers, including two armed men. When they entered the house, Biancardi’s parents were present. The attackers tied them up and fled with luxurious bags, watches and jewellery in a span of 25 minutes, reported The Sun.
After the robbers fled, the elderly couple informed the authorities about the incident and provided the CCTV footage to track down the attackers through the car they were using.
According to the Municipal Civil Guard (MCG), one of the suspects has been arrested while the other two fled after the attack. The MCG revealed that the arrested victim has been recognised to be a resident of the same condominium as the Biancardis and, thus is suspected to grant the other two gang members to stage the invasion, The Sun report added.
Following the incident, Biancardi shared about the robbery on her social media post
“Reassuring the friends, family and those of you who follow me here that this morning they robbed my house and took my parents hostage. Me, Mavie, and my sister are not living there anymore and are not at the moment,” she wrote.
She added, “Thank God, everything is okay with them. Material things we can get back. The important thing is that everyone is well.”
On the other hand
, Neymar posted on his Instagram story regarding the incident which reads, “There was the attack that Bruna’s parents suffered but thank God everyone is safe!”
As per the authorities, further investigation is underway.
