Uttar Pradesh, a politically crucial state, sends 80 MPs to Lok Sabha — the highest in the country. The state will vote in seven phases starting April 19. The result will be announced on June 4.
The BJP will contest the most seats in the NDA. While the Congress will field its candidates in 17 constituencies, the rest, 63 seats, will be distributed between the Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party and other members of the Opposition's INDIA bloc.
Uttar Pradesh has 80 Lok Sabha constituencies — 63 seats are unreserved, while the rest of the 17 seats are reserved for the SC candidates.

Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha elections 2024: Opinion poll results
The ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is projected to win as many as 77 seats in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections with a 57% vote share, according to a
News18 Opinion Poll.
The INDIA bloc, comprising Samajwadi Party, Congress and others, is expected to bag just two seats, albeit with a 26% vote share, while Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) may secure just one seat with a 9% vote share.

BJP-led NDA secured victory in 64 seats, with BJP alone winning 62 of them. Apna Dal (Sonelal) won the remaining two seats.
The Mahagathbandhan alliance between Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Rashtriya Lok Dal managed to win 15 seats, while the Congress won the sole Raebareli constituency.
