Ashok Gehlot on Monday filed his nomination from Sardarpura Assembly constituency in Jodhpur district. The election affidavit filed by CM Gehlot discloses his movable and immovable assets.
According to reports,
CM Gehlot’s total assets have almost doubled to
₹ 11.69 crore in the last five years, compared to
₹6.5 crore he declared during the 2018 elections.
On the other hand, former Deputy CM and Congress leader Sachin Pilot’s total assets have marginally grown in the last five years to ₹7.12 crore from ₹ 6.43 crore in 2018. He is contesting from his home turf of Tonk constituency.
Sachin Pilot filed his nomination from Tonk on October 31.
Details of CM Ashok Gehlot’s total assets
According to reports, out of the total declared assets worth ₹ 11.69 crore, CM Gehlot owns assets worth ₹ 10.27 crore while the rest of the properties belong to his wife, Sunita Gehlot.
Additionally, CM Gehlot mentioned that he has only ₹ 20,000 in cash while his wife has only ₹ 10,000 in cash. Apart from the cash in hand, Gehlot declared that his wife owns gold and silver jewellery worth ₹ 14.9 lakh while he himself owns jewellery worth ₹ 30,000. As per the details, the veteran Congress leader disclosed ₹1. 9 crore cash deposits in two bank accounts. According to the current CM’s affidavit submitted to the Election Commission, he does not own any vehicle.

₹ 1.4 crore, according to reports.
His total assets include bank deposits worth₹ 1.8 crore and investments worth ₹2.4 crore. As per the election affidavit, Pilot’s annual income stood at ₹64.3 lakh in the financial year 2022-23. This income includes his earnings from agricultural income, financial investments and interest accruals.
