PM Modi launches projects worth ₹30,500 crore from Jammu for education, infrastructure

Modi will also inaugurate the AIIMS-Jammu. The hospital is equipped with 720 beds, a medical college with 125 seats, a nursing college with 60 seats, an AYUSH block with 30 beds, residential accommodation for faculty and staff, hostel accommodation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Jammu on Tuesday, February 20, and launched multiple development projects, including for education, railway, aviation and road sectors, worth ₹30,500 crore. A multi-tier security setup was put in place and traffic advisories were issued for Modi's visit.
Modi addressed a public rally at Maulana Azad Stadium in the heart of winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir today.

He distributed appointment letters to about 1,500 newly recruited government employees of Jammu and Kashmir and interact with beneficiaries of various schemes as part of the 'Viksit Bharat, Viksit Jammu' programme.
