Lok Sabha elections and Assembly polls will be held simultaneously in Odisha. The polling for 147 Assembly seats and 21 parliamentary constituencies will be held together in four phases in the eastern state.
Voting in Odisha will be held on May 13, 20, 25 and June 1, as per the poll schedule announced by the Election Commission of India on Saturday.
The polling dates coincide with the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh phases of the
Lok Sabha elections. The counting of votes will take place on June 4.

During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) won 12 out of 21 seats, while the BJP secured eight constituencies and the Congress party managed only one seat.
