CNBC-TV18 Exclusive: Stand with India in the fight against terrorism, says Boris Johnson

Voters in the United Kingdom are set to vote in their general election, scheduled to be held on December 12. In this election, Britain's Prime Minister Boris Johnson is seeking his return to power.

CNBC-TV18's Sanjay Suri spoke to the British PM who recently said that he wants to partner with PM Narendra Modi to build a new India.

Johnson said, "We stand shoulder to shoulder with India in fighting terror, cooperating on security and intelligence sharing between our two countries and that will go forward."

He further added, "It is very important that all prejudice and all discrimination is tackled in our country. I personally want a society where we live together in freedom and peace and harmony."
