The rights for TV and broadcast will fetch the BCCI more than Rs 44,000 crore. This is 45 percent higher than the base price set for the auction and more than double the Rs 16,300 crore paid by Disney and Star in 2017.

TV rights were sold for more than Rs 23,500 crore. This is at a 30 percent premium over the base price set by the BCCI, which was just over Rs 18,000 crore. Digital rights were sold for a premium of nearly 70 percent. From a base price of Rs 12,200 crore, digital rights were sold for Rs 20,500 crore.
