Jio Financial Services | The company posted profit ex-associates and joint ventures (JVs) of ₹227 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2023. In the corresponding quarter, Jio Financial Services posted a net profit of ₹233 crore. For the quarter, the company's interest income, surged to ₹270 crore, marking a remarkable 45% increase compared to the previous quarter's ₹186 crore.
PNC Infratech | The infrastructure company said that it has along with its subsidiary PNC Infra Holdings Ltd finalised definitive agreements with Highways Infrastructure Trust (HIT) for the divestment of 12 road assets. The deal, valued at an enterprise value of ₹9,005.7 crore, includes 11 national highway (NH) hybrid annuity mode (HAM) assets and one state highway BOT toll asset.
Usha Martin | Homegrown wire ropes manufacturer said its Thailand-based subsidiary Usha Siam Steel Industries Public Company Ltd (USSIPCL) has inked an agreement to acquire a 50% stake in Tesac Usha Wirerope Company Ltd (TUWCL). The deal, valued at 74.45 million baht, involves the purchase of 12,50,000 equity shares from Kobelco Wire Company Ltd, the company said.
Patanjali Foods | Edible oil firm said its December quarter witnessed stable prices of edible oils in India, contributing to the steady performance of the homegrown company. Patanjali Foods experienced incremental growth in the segment, with both sequential and year-on-year growth in volumes.
Sarda Energy | The company said it has awarded a contract worth ₹150 crore to Gensol Engineering Ltd for the installation of a 50MW DC solar power plant in Chhattisgarh. The contract entails the complete spectrum of activities, including design engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the solar power plant.
Shakti Pumps | The water pump company said its board of directors will convene on January 18, 2024, to deliberate on raising funds through the issuance of eligible securities. The proposed avenues for fund generation include a preferential allotment, private placement, or a qualified institutions placement (QIP), among other permissible modes, the company said.
Zomato: Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund sold 4.5 crore shares of the company at ₹138.15. Goldman Sachs Investments, Morgan Stanley Asia, Societe Generale, BNP Paribas Arbitrage, Citigroup Global Markets were the buyers.
