10 | Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani | Release Date - July 2023 | Worldwide Collection - ₹355.6 crore | A typical Bollywood romantic drama, Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani released in theaters on July 28, 2023. The film features Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles while Bollywood veterans Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi are playing key supporting roles. 7 | Tiger 3 | Release Date - November 2023 | Worldwide Collection - ₹466.4 crore | Directed by Maneesh Sharma, 'Tiger 3' is the fifth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, which includes the Tiger series, WAR, and Pathaan. Released on November 12, 2023, the plot of ‘Tiger 3’ delves around Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger (Salman Khan) and Zoya (Katrina Kaif) being framed as traitors by a terrorist, who wants to destroy the duo. Revolving around a retired jailer who seeks to apprehend an eccentric idol smuggler, the Nelson Dilipkumar directorial received a lot of praise from the critics and proved to be a major box office success not just in India, but in the international markets too. 5 | Leo | Release Date - August 2023 | Worldwide Collection - ₹615.6 crore | Lokesh Kanagaraj's Tamil action thriller film Leo was released on October 19 and received majorly positive reviews of critics and moviegoers. The Vijay-starrer follows the journey of a cafe owner and animal rescuer in Theog, who is pursued by gangsters Antony and Harold as they suspect him to be Antony's estranged son, Leo. 4 | Gadar 2 | Release Date - August 2023 | Worldwide Collection - ₹690.2 crore | A sequel to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, which was released in 2001, Gadar 2 marked the return of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel as Tara Singh and Sakeena to the silver screen after over two decades. Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 is undoubtedly one of the most celebrated films of 2023. It was released on August 11. The film revolves around the India-Pakistan war of 1971 as Tara Singh crosses the border to rescue his imprisoned son Charanjeet "Jeete" Singh. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has raked in a whopping ₹639.5* crore in India, and gross overseas collection of ₹241.4 core*. Animal focuses on the life of Ranvijay Singh, who learns about an assassination attempt on his father and sets out to exact revenge. 2 | Pathaan | Release Date - January 2023 | Worldwide Collection - ₹1,050.3 crore | Released on January 25, the Siddharth Anand directorial was a roaring comeback for the 'Badshah of Bollywood', Shah Rukh Khan at the box office. The film collected ₹654.28 crore in India, and ₹396.02 from the overseas market. Besides Shah Rukh, the film also featured Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana. The story of the film revolves around RAW agent Pathaan, who works with ISI agent Rubina Mohsin to take down former RAW agent Jim, who plans to attack the country with a deadly virus.
