Animal (Theatre) | The much-awaited movie of Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna is going to hit theatres on December 1. Animal is also seeing a good response ahead of the release as the advance booking collection has reached over ₹15 crore. The movie revolves around the complex and toxic relationship of a father and a son. Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of an unruly son out to take revenge after his father’s murder. Family Switch (Netflix) | The storyline of the film Family Switch revolves around the Walker family, specifically Jess and Bill Walker, as they navigate the complexities of their growing children. The movie takes a comic turn when a bizarre incident occurs, triggered by a visit to an astrological reader. The incident causes the parents and their teenage kids to switch bodies. Sam Bahadur (Theatre) | Sam Bahadur is a biopic based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, the former Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army while setting the plot on the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War. The movie explores Manekshaw’s dynamic personality and his unparalleled military career. The upcoming biographical film has been directed by Meghna Gulzar and bankrolled by RSVP Movies. Shehar Lakhot (Amazon Prime Video) | A neo-noir web series, Shehar Lakhot narrates the story of a man who has been taken back to his hometown where he confronts some dark secrets from the past. The protagonist of the series gets buried in the deeper complexities and mysteries wherein he fights back. Devika Bhagat and Navdeep Singh helmed Shehar Lakhot features Priyanshu Painyuli, Shruthi Menon, Kubra Sait, Chandan Roy and Manu Rishi Chadha. Mission Raniganj (Netflix) | Recently released, a disaster thriller Mission Raniganj is all set to stream on OTT platform Netflix from December 1. The story of the film has been inspired by the true events of the Raniganj Coalfield collapse that happened in 1989 in West Bengal. The movie narrates the courageous rescue mission led by the mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill, who saved 65 trapped miners.
